Republicans planning anti-Sanford rally

This should be good: WCNC out of Charlotte is reporting that the GOP national committeeman Glenn McCall is organizing a Statehouse rally on Wednesday or Thursday of this week with 300 or 400 people to call on Sanford to resign...

I hope we can add our voices to this.  I realize the SCDP would be doing more to put the heat on Sanford if they didn't want to maximize his potential for being a liability in the 2010 races.  But it is looking pretty pathetic that the SCDP is not taking the lead on going after Sanford, letting people like Knotts and McCall step in.  If Joe Erwin was still chair somehow I think he would be doing a better job of getting a Dem message out there and coordinating efforts.  If we don't want to look like a one-party state, then Dems should flex some political muscle and turn up the heat on Sanford!  Just because there may be a Governor Bauer for a few months doesn't mean we would have that much less of a chance to win in 2010 than we do now.  And people are wondering if South Carolina still has a Democratic Party because, like in everything else in SC politics, the Sanford scandal is proving to be Republican vs. Republican.
